When you ruin your salad with the wrong dressing

I am very weird
I get annoyed when I have a delicious salad and get excited about eating it but then I put on the dressing and it just doesn't go with the salad or it's not a great dressing.
I had a great salad with 3 types of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, feta cheese, olives and chicken and all they had available at the store was balsamic vinaigrette and I put it on and I hate the taste of it. I still ate it of course but still, it needed a good dressing.
Is anyone else picky about salad dressing?

We had some guests and I wanted to show off my cabbage salad which has my signature. I messed up by adding too much of mustard paste. They all ate it but did say they found the mustard a bit too much (lol)

I don't think I'm picky when it comes to salad dressing.
Unless you put maple syrup, never tried, but I don't think the salad would taste good.

@tzwrites Nuts are fine, as long as they're not sweet.
No almonds perhaps, walnuts should be okay. I like them on pizza too.

I prefer lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, herbs and spices. Salads with a light dressing are low in fats and high in nutrients.
