My potato souffle withered.

February 3, 2017 3:26pm CST
Oh, no... I was hoping that my new attempt in the culinary world would result in something very good, but it was not quite like that. I thought I had followed the recipe item by item, but I jumped one (the yeast) and the souffle withered. I'm quite sad now... But I'm going to have to think of something fast for dinner now, since my parents are not home.

But wasn't it still edible?

Missing out the yeast would be a major error. Better luck next time.

Does it taste less delicious because it withered, or still delicious.

A fascinating way of crying! How is it possible that the tears shoot upwards before they fall down? :-) Can't one still eat a withered souffle?

Souffles intimidate me and I'm a good cook.
