Is Donald Trump crazy for keeping certain people out of the country?

President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States. The countries are Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. This is not the first time this has happened. USA History of laws restricting people from other countries: 1798-France-Alien Enemies Act, Friends Act and the Alien Sedition Act (John Adams) 1882-China- Chinese Exclusion Acts-Banned Chinese immigration (Chester A. Arthur) 1891-Russian, Austrian and Italian Jews- Congress required immigrants pass a medical exam and have no criminal record (Benjamin Harrison) 1903-Europe- Addendum to 1891 Act to prohibit suspected European anarchists and subversives (Teddy Roosevelt) 1917-Foreign illiterates- USA enacted a literacy test for entry to the country (Woodrow Wilson) 1924-All countries- Quotas imposed on immigration (Warren G. Harding) 1942-Mexico,Barbados,Bahamas,Canada and Jamaica-“Bracero” program. Temporary workers paid lower wages (Franklin D. Roosevelt) 1950-Russia and other Communist countries-The Internal Security Act-Deported immigrants from Communist countries (Harry S. Truman) 1980-Iran- Iranians banned from entering the country (Jimmy Carter) 2011-Iraq- U.S. government invoked the Nationality Act of 1965 (Barack Obama) 2012-Syria and Iran- U.S. government invoked the Nationality Act of 1965 (Barack Obama) 2014-Crimea and Sudan- U.S. government invoked the Nationality Act of 1965 (Barack Obama) Donald Trump's mistake is that he communicated a ban based on religion instead of country of origin....which is obviously acceptable
