We ate in a hurry (not good for my stomach) as the technician who has to repair the phone was doing to come around 1PM
It is 2:30 and noone has rung the bell.
I´ll go and take a small nap. I bet that as soon as I lay down, the man will come. THat is what I call Murphy´s laws.
Anyway, I hope he will fix my phone.
Do you have those Murphy´s laws in your life more times than what you wish?

Yes I do and I hate when someone is supposed to come at a certain time and they don't show up when their supposed to. That is frustrating.

Patience with me could be a virtue sometimes but last year they did nothing but stretch that patience like a never ending elastic band.
They came to fix okay fixed. Half an hour after they were out the door off it all went again. Wait for it we had them here four or more hours going in and out of our House then coming back again.
So I am hoping that this time the lines stayed fixed for sometime as now we have at least six Street Lamps going on and off like Sirens with the light flickering very fast and it lasts till the light goes off in the morning grrr. Patience Sue patience. Got two of those Street Lights right outside the door.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I did not think of it because they would be coming when Leticia was still at home. But they came late and Leticia had asked me if she could go out a little earlier as she was invited for dinner.

I don´t like to have people at home fixing anything. To tell you the truth, I don´t trust them and I have everything in full display, including my few jewels.

The few things I have I lock away and keep them away from the two rooms. I only let them into the main Room. Have they got to go back again? Or did they manage to fathom it all out?

The difference between now and before is that now the lady who gives you the hour of attention can be at a call center in another part of the world

I guess but not all the time. Specially when you have to go in the bathroom and then suddenly someone will knock to the door unfortunately your alone at home so you have to get out of the bathroom and open the door first before peeing. Lol!

I live alone too. I decided make the line phone as if it was in use. And I take my cellphone to the bathroom. I don´t answer the house bell until I get out.

This new thing about call center and the like means that maybe when you tell someone that you have a problem, the person might even be elsewhere, in another country even.
