I was in my 6th grade when I joined our school Drum and Bugle Corp. It is a group of students who play drums, xylophone, trumpets and gracious Majorettes. I was one of the Majorettes. When the city celebrate it's bountiful harvest. Every school is entitled to join the celebration and competed to win a price and recognition from the City Mayor's Office. Our school participated in the event. We practiced very hard for the competition because we want to win. Our hardship took the first place. We won! So far, those moments are one of the best in my childhood. Do you happen to have the same moments as well?

I was also a part of Drum & Lyre Band in school. I started when I was in my pre school which isn't really should be allowed because the members should be in Elementary. Hahaha! But I liked to join, my mother also wanted me to join, so she talked to the teachers who were handling the band before. And I got accepted. My sister was the majorette and I was one of the minorettes. Hihi When I was in grade 2, they let me hold the lyre and in grade 5, I held the one and only table lyre in school. =) It was very memorable for me because I was a member until I graduated from Elementary.

Whenever the principal walked in to our class I knew it would be to pick up those who would act in a play and I was always one of them. It is these moments that are memorable to me. Ofcourse there are many more as I enjoyed my school days.

I encounter that as well. That is why I only joined the corp during my 6th grade because of fees.
