How to deal with uncomfortable comments in a workplace?
Are you going to answer back?
Or you will just ignore and try to correct it silently?
I know that we cannot please everybody.
Especially in a workplace where there are some who are just looking for the negatives in their workmates.
But if we are going to answer back maybe we will just make things worst.
Uncomfortable comments could make you lose your self - confidence
and make you feel bad.
But for me, I think it is just better to ignore them, be myself and move on.

Sarcasm is the key. Pit a smile on ur face and answer something really witty and double meaning! That helped me a lot of times!

@magallon than you just laugh and go away. And that too, a good natured laugh

@magallon often people who want to pinch you or taunt you, often enjoy themselves when you really do take it to your heart. Don't give them that pleasure..

I generally ignore nasty comments at work place, specially when comments are being made by the boss. I don't believe in entering into arguments, which could leave a bitter taste in mouth.
If a subordinate or equal rank colleague say uncomfortable comments regarding my work, I not only defend myself buy pay him back in the same tone.

@magallon I would say not all men are like it.
In my previous office there were women subordinates, who dared to challenge my orders, when I was new at that place.

There are negative people that will make you feel negative. Don't let them drag you down

Ignore is good way to keep your positive mind but if it continue then you should try to let those who make uncomfortable comments know that you would like work in peace. If they don't like something you do they can look the other way
