My toothache exceeded my patience level today. so i visited dentist. exray revealed that wisdom tooth is not straight and that has caused infection in the tooth just before it. I am on medication for three days............after three days dentist will have another look before conluding wheather extraction of tooth is required or something else can be done. Current situation : Releaved temporarily after taking medicine.

I was in the same situation and my wisdom teeth removed from both lower ends. The problem is, it took time to come out and the food particles struck in the gum portion which leads to infection (brushing is not possible after every meal, especially when we are not at home). Since it is not straight that create more troubles. Removing is the best remedy in the long run which may need minor surgery.

It's always uncomfortable to have a toothache. Some dentist need xray first but I have a dentist who do not do xray and just extract tooth right away

Tooth ache is one of the most painful pain man could ever have. Was it finally extracted or not?
