I am not alone

It is already almost 11:00 o'clock in the evening but still I could hear people in the neighborhood talking. Now, I know I am not alone meaning I am not the only one awake in the neighborhood. Other people are. Most of the time when I am awake at this time, you could only hear the sound of insects, dogs and other animals. I'm just glad that I am not alone today.

It is the weekend, people like to be up late haha Just hopefully they are not being rowdy.

For me, they haven't disturbed me. When I went out this morning, I happened to talk to a neighbor and he said that the voices that I heard last night was from the church nearby. There were members who were there last night. Maybe they had an affair.

I thought you can't sleep because of the earthquake that we had 2 hours ago. Was there earthquake in your place this evening?

I don't know. If ever there was, it might be very low intensity. I guess the center is in the Caraga Region, because I read the posts on facebook of some of my relatives that the earthquake in Surigao City was strong. I don't know if strong is the right word for it.

My village is still alive right now. The neighborhood boys are on their motorcycles going here and there. I can even hear some people talking from nearby food stall. I am preparing to sleep, yet they don't seem to be sleepy.

You are in a highly urbanized area that is why your place was still alive at that time of the night. In my place here, we are in a rural area wherein we can only hear voices from animals and insects. Wish I am also in an urban area. I really like to sleep late whenever I am in the city.
