I took a trip

I really have no idea how I did it. Actually, it has been a fear for a few years, more-so the last 2. My 2 youngest children have done it, thankfully(?) not while I was watching. Yeah, I fell down the stairs on Wednesday. Well, more like I missed the last 2 steps. I do have long legs, but since my arms were full(carrying my sleepy 3 year old after waking him from his nap), meant I had little option to catch myself. I really don't know how I managed to hold on as tightly as I did, or stay as upright. I do know my son didn't even come close to hitting the floor or stairs, and my arms and legs were sore for the rest of the night. Thankfully I didn't injure my back. Pretty sure I am completely healed up from that. Here's hoping that it doesn't happen again

Oh gosh. Thank goodness it wasn't worse! I hope you are feeling better, I have always had a fear of falling down the stairs, and have done so a few times.

I've always had a normal fear of falling, but after my back surgery, that fear is more intense. I actually tripped over the sidewalk last August and broke my elbow.

What a great thing that you held on. Lucky you were not injured.

Oh I'm sorry you fell, that is a scary feeling! Glad you didn't hurt your back. That would have been horribly painful.
