New chapter starts tomorrow!

I have been a stay at home mom for almost 4 years. That all ends tomorrow. I'm going to be a teacher at a daycare!!! I'm sad, nervous and excited!!! I don't know what to expect. I know it's going to be hard but I think it will be fun. My kids are 3 years old and one year old. I hope this will be good for all of us. We all will be making new friends! If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it!!

Congratulations on your new job For various reasons I was out of employment for nearly 10 years and have now had a job for over 5 months. The only advice I can offer is embrace the change and don't get involved in workplace gossip

@jenleecarley88 the other thing I'd say is take advantage of any training/qualifications your new job offers. Even the most basic things will add to your CV.

I know how you feel. I have three kids. 5, 3 and 1/2, and 2. I was a stay-at-home as well, until I started work again not that long ago. It wasn't easy. It was a little scary, but I was a little excited too. It's not always easy, but I'm sure you'll do fine. Good luck tomorrow.

I don't have any experience with that line of work, but my best advice would be to always make sure to take care of yourself--get enough sleep, get some time alone, and get help with your own kids and with the housework and whatnot. Otherwise, you will be quite exhausted and that's not good for anyone. Good luck in your new gig!
