The snow has begun...

It only started an hour ago but it is really coming down. It is fine but heavy. The wind is already starting to pick up. By the time I get up in the morning we should be into the blizzard. Schools have all closed as well as all doctor and dentist offices. The malls are closed. Many businesses have already announced they won't be opening. Everybody is preparing for the worse. I haven't seen this happen in quite sometime.
I am so glad that I can stay inside and wait for the storm to pass. I am going to head off to bed now before the strong winds start. They usually keep me awake. Happy mylotting. I will be around here all day tomorrow since there won't be much else to do.
To those in the path of this weather system be safe. Hope you don't have to go out in it.

For the most part businesses don't close or they may close early. This is the first time in two years that I seen them not open at all because of this type of storm. So on average they may close early maybe two or three times of year. That would only result in losing a 3-4 hours each time.

@Happy2BeMe We have only had one this year. I live in a weird state. We are never quite sure what we'll get from year to year. We've had summer time temps for most of winter, then one good snow.

Take care of yourself and enjoy the snow from inside. We had freezing rain yesterday and now its snowing here too. Hubby went to the Y this morning and said the roads were terrible, I think I'm staying home today...
