This is the celebrated event of every single in the world every 14... Being aware and knowing they have the heart to have that kind of boy and girl relationship.
I think the best day to celebrate your free days as single is this day. Show how you love yourself and let yourself enjoy being free like counting the days when you will meet the right man so better prepare and make sure that you are already while an ready to be one with the great godly person that God gives you as a gift forever.

It's still 14, it's a typo. Someone greeted me on facebook of SAD day... single awareness day instead of Happy Valentine's Day that was six years ago and ever since I always celebrate Valentine's that way... As single awareness day... And that's where I got my idea to celebrate it happily and fun!

That is a perfect advice for the single.
Being single is one of the best time in a person's life.
You are not under a curse for being single.
Single stage is the preparation stage to enter the marriage.
Celebrate your self when still single.

It is a day like any other. It wasn't meant to be a sad day for singles but a day where those who have the luck to be in a relationship can celebrate their love (even though it should be everyday).
Like any other day we celebrate we only choose to celebrate it if we like.
For example, am celebrating it but no dinners out or anything. A gift for him from me is plenty. I dont even mind not getting a gift, i actually love giving them and dont expect anything in return.
The intention is what counts i guess.

Interesting perspective. I am single and while I do not really crave company I do tend t feel a little left out on this day. But I like your suggestion. You must be quite the confident person!. I AM going to pamper myself on this day! Thank you for making me aware that it's okay to do so.
