Which one are you an optimist, pessimist, or realist?

I think I'm mostly realist but can't say I'm not optimist or pessimist. How is it really measured witch one of them a person is? Is it the way you think about things most of the time? And what it tells about your personality? Every time I hear this question it makes me think what would be the real answer. I think positive way and also negative way but can't say which one more so I pick realist. I also read definition of each type many times and realist just fits the best. So what about you which one are you?

I think it's a hard question to reply because what we can see as an "optimistic" view for some people could seem only realist. I think anyway that I am a realist.

Yeah it's difficult to "fit just in one box" for myself too

Most of the time I behave in a pessimist way.Although I know that it's not good to see everything that way.

I am a realist in a sense that I am a realistic artist. I paint landscapes as they actually appear.

I wouldn't define myself as realist because I don't pay a lot of attention to "reality". I can think for the worst, crazy bad situations that aren't likely to happen, just to prepare myself. "No expectations, no disappointments" would be my motto, too. At the same time, I can be very optimistic, forgetting reality once again. So I'm both, but not a realist.

Pessimist. Life has taught 99.9% of change is always for the worst.

Oh no that much negative life show you I think it's always good to prepare for the worst but only 0.1% chance of something good is kinda low

I think I am a realist. I just don't look at the positive side, negative side should be considered as well.
