Dr. Ruth Westheimer Can someone explain to me why there is a key on the board (next to the number 1 and exclamation point) that has a ~ and ` when you can't use the ~ properly like over the n in manana?? I know you can do it correctly by going somewhere else but why is it on the keyboard?? So far I have kept all my New Year's resolutions--can you say the same? (I didn't have to make any! ) I have really been on a 'domestic' tear since the first of the year--lost count of how many large garbage bags of 'stuff' I have thrown out--did I really need 6 can openers?--plus stuff that I have given away, sold, donated, etc.--with empty dresser drawers I have been able to put lots of things away--the place is getting that empty, open look and I like it! Also, for some reason, today I decided to 'redo' my bedroom--moved everything around! I love the arguments about why the minimum wage shouldn't be raised--many counties in Florida have a higher minimum wage than the federal amount and we have the lowest unemployment rate in the country. On the other hand--nothing to do with minimum wage--we rank 43rd in graduation from high schools. Hate to rub it in---no I don't !--but our high today was 81--low tonight is suppose to be 70 and tomorrow a high of 83--I have a sofa bed if you want to come down! I love the story about the duck who after being shot and put in the freezer and 2 days (!!!) when the wife of the hunter opened the freezer the duck lifted it's head--it is now in a wildlife sanctuary and is given a 75% chance of survival. Keep your fingers crossed--we may get a deal on getting broadband through our cable company for free.
