Money we all need it and whether we like it or not it is a very important part of life that we need to survive. Times are hard for everyone every where right now. Holidays just passed and we are all trying to recover financially. For many financial relief is right around the corner. Tax return time which will allow many to catch up and go shopping almost like spring cleaning getting rid of the old and shopping for the new. I always like to have a little extra to line my pockets with even if it is only a small amount enough to get gas, lunch and cigarettes. I was wondering how many other people are doing online work to do this? I have found that online work is getting harder and harder to find. Sites go under sites don't pay or other sites that we don't qualify to work at for one reason or another. I think I have less than a dozen sites that I have found that I can earn in some way. Not all of the sites pay in cash some pay in the form of gift cards which I think are a pretty good thing because you can use them almost anywhere and you can reload them as well.

I have lots of sites that I do surveys or things for money or gift cards. I am most active here at mylot though as it is the funnest. The sites I do every day are Swagbucks, mylot, crowdtap, InboxDollars, recyclebank, and MyPoints. Most of them I just do the daily poll. When I have more time I do surveys etc.

@shaggin I haven't heard of some of the sites you mentioned. I have been looking for new ones because most of the ones I used to use are all gone. It seems the ones I have found left are ones that I couldn't qualify for. Many of the writing sites ask for credentials I have no degrees in any kind of anything really. Others are so hard my writing skills are mediocre at best. I hate surveys most times you have to take a survey to see if you can take one. After doing it they say you don't qualify blah blah crap. I have been at a bit of a loss as far as knowing where to go to generate online income. I found your response helpful. I like this place because the people are friendly its just that it always seems to be so slow around here. I also don't seem to find many members which kind of is a bummer.

@lokisdad Oops I forgot the other site I do daily which is dailybreak. This is the only site I write on except blogger once in awhile but the earnings there are so slim I wouldn't consider it earning.

@shaggin I signed up for recyclebank and I really love it. I have been reading, learning and earning points taking quizzes. I am only bummed I didn't know about it sooner lol. I like things like that where I am doing something fun and not feel like I am really working hard and underpaid haha not funny more sad. I used to write for a few sites like Bubblews,YahooContributors and I liked them I made regular payouts of fairly decent amounts. B-prob. $65 wk and about $50-YC plus I would do slice the pie$10 x2wk a few other sites too all simultaniously. My pockets where full and happy. It was easy in terms of level of difficulty of the work. You didn't really need much except to have basic English writing skills and know what you were speaking about. I was working and found a method so that I could balance it all and being able to do it from your phone was what mostly made it possible. I was able to do it even when I wasn't at a computer when I had down time. I had most of it predone.

I work predominantly online. I earn a part-time income, but I'm hoping to earn more the more organised and focused I get. For me, I think organisation, focus and consistency is key. Those aren't my strong points. I used to use a lot of sites, so I agree with you that some do change or go under. It's the nature of the money-online world. Sites come and go, but some do stick around for a good good while. Nowadays, I stick to a few sites. My idea is to focus on a few that are relatively good and make them work for me (by organising/focusing/being consistent).

@lokisdad - Welcome back :). You'll find your feet. You started before so you have some experience. That's an advantage. Good luck.

@browneyed Thanks I am hoping that my past experience will help me out as you said but I still feel like a newbie at all of this again.

Absolutely I would love to have just a few that earn enough that I can be happy with them. Right now I have this and a few others which I started over the last few days I haven't been back online long. I had taken a long break from it and coming back much has changed. When I was doing it before that was big for me being organized with it which made it easier for me. I had it all planned out what things I was going to use for the writing. When I was going to do all my writing and then saving it all so I could decide later when and where I was going to distribute it. Since I was gone so long and so much has changed its like starting over from scratch.

Yes, it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet as everything continues to go up. Makes you wonder how anyone can ever survive. For me when it comes to earning online I have an online business I really enjoy that costs money to do but worth it. It helps teach people how to be successful selling on eBay, Bonanza, Amazon and other platforms. The business varies in how much I make all the time, but for me it is something that works.

Its just greed its never going to stop. Inflation will keep going up and the rich will get richer the poor poorer. The ones who either learn to adapt or hustle are the only ones who will survive. No such thing as security anymore. One day you are on top the next you could be on the bottom.

I earn online also recyclebank is a great learning experience while earning, so really like it. Certainly, there are less sites and some have a lot of surveys that are hard to qualify and take a long time to complete.

Yes the surveys are a killer. I had done 5 in a row and got disqualified for 3 apparently they didn't like my answers lol.

I have just a few sites that are reliable. I am using the funds to get bitcoin now... and there is a site I get some bitcoin hourly and I am up to $2.40 a day for doing nothing on it. I hope it lasts, is all.

Well I just got up to that point so now I am taking it out again. Bitcoin is rising a lot right now, up to 1,000 USD or a little more. It is hard to get it though unless you mine for it and you need equipment for it. I just do surveys for free on a website for it.

@jhechorain I guess we have to take what we can get and run with it especially if you didn't have to kill yourself to get it lol.

I put all earnings into a separate savings account and only touched it once for my husband's surprise birthday party at Capital Grille Steakhouse and any Amazon goes to my younger son.

I never thought about that now I kind of feel a little silly. I guess because having the extra money made me spend less of what I had saved and allowed me to not worry about it. That sounds like it was a great birthday party and great for your younger son. I personally like gift cards.
