Germany bans Cayla doll for spying abilities

The toy has microphone and integrated bluetooth connection. The German government says that toys that hide cameras or microphones and can transmit data inadvertently threaten privacy. They will ask the shops to remove the doll, is not it exaggerated?

That would be a good idea not to sell that doll.

Yes, it's the old discussion about freedom versus intimacy, and how far should we get

They also asked to all parents who bought the doll to destroy it. No it's not exaggerated if this doll is a treat.

The toys can be used for spying because of technology. That's really bad idea

It isn't exaggerated. These dolls are dangerous for the children. It's a pity that children's world is so badly affected by tech.
