What are you up to on this sunny Sunday?

OK, maybe I'm being a bit Pollyannaish. It maybe be cloudy and snowing like heck where you are. Or raining in warm sheets down under. And it's supposed to rain here later this afternoon. But I'm noticing a nice sunny morning. I have a few things I HAVE to do, and a few things I WANT to do. I have to do one progress note, grade some papers, and play a 2:30 PM gig at an old folks home. I want to play some guitar for fun, get a little cycling in, and maybe play some catch or cars with my neighbor kid friend. It's 48 F (about 9 C) out right now, and the predicted high is only 55 F (about 12 C), so I'm going to hold off on cycling until the afternoon. That means I'll do a progress note now (here at my computer) and then cover up my cold feet and grade some papers in bed, like Mark Twain (he liked to dictate his later writings from the comfort of his bed). What's on your agenda for today?

It's almost 6 pm, the day has been sunny, but with a bit of haze. Our high temperature has been around 48 F, this morning it was very cold, not even 32F.

Is that cold for your part of Switzerland at this time of year? I'd expect lows to dip below freezing (32 F; 0 C) there in February.

@TheHorse It's warmer than the other years, we usually have temperature below 0 Celsius in February, even as low as -12 Celsius, not this year.

@LadyDuck I'm hearing a lot of stories of unusually warm temps this Winter, including from my native Chicago. Here in California, we're having a fairly typical "old school" (like 15 years ago) Winter, with cool but not cold temperatures and lots of rain.

I did my laundry, so now I'm having lunch. I have to clean my office later today. Are you anywhere near where all of the bad weather is happening? I know California's a big state, but it seems like everywhere's getting hit: the south with heavy rains and the north with that weakened dam.

Well, right now, I'm standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona...oh, wait, that's the Eagles song I'm listening to. We got up and went to church, then came home and had breakfast for lunch, I graded some papers, and since then I've been myLotting and pretending to listen to my wife talk about what we need to do before our first camping trip in a couple weeks.

Its gray here but mild- above freezing anyway so I saw weeds protruding in spots as I walked with hubby to the mailbox this morning. That's about a two block walk one way. I might end up making some bread sticks today cause I possibly will not have time to do that the rest of this week. (Thursday I plan to drive out to a friend/dog trainer and interview her for an article that I will write. I want to give her the treat of the rolls.)

I am up. It is foggy. I am doing laundry. We are going to go to another town and get me a ZTR mower, probably. It is used, and reasonably priced.I have a headache, sinus issues, and sure wish it was as nice today as it was yesterday. We went to lots of stores yesterday instead of having fun outdoors.
