Cancer sucks!

I've just talked to my cousin on the phone. I found out that my Aunt Elissa passed away on January 30th. Cancer had spread in her body and it was quick. So my cousin's been cleaning out her home ever since then. I've lost family members to cancer lately.
My grandfather passed away from bone/prostate cancer. My aunt Nancy had Emphysema. She might've had lung cancer too. My mother had surgery to remove cancer from her lungs many years ago before she died from CHF/COPD. My grandmother (on my mother's side) died from cancer, right before I was born. So now my Aunt Elissa had succumbed from cancer as well, too.
Have you lost someone you loved in your family or friends to cancer? We should all stand up to cancer, because cancer sucks!

I'm sorry that you've had so much cancer in your family.
You are right-cancer does suck!
I have a sister-in-law who is just finishing up her 3rd month of chemotherapy, which is round 1, she has at least 1 more round and then radiation and finally surgery this summer.
She's suffering from thrush right now, the entire inside of her mouth is just raw, my brother-in-law said it is so sad to see her suffering like that and he cannot do a thing.

I agree, cancer sucks!!
I've lost many loved ones to it.
Thankfully I've only had skin cancers....one with easy removal and the other was under my skin eating my face from the inside out. That was almost a 4 hour surgery to get it out....and a nice scar under my eye.

Yes, cancer sucks. So does heart disease, Autism, diabetes, Alzheimers.
Many are using natural ways to prevent or treat cancer. If you have never look at Chris Beat Cancer, that site has great information.

Wished it was easy to stand up to it, especially if it is hereditary. I was warned by my doctor that I have precancerous cells. I change my diet to lots of fruits and vegetables but to be honest it is a hard thing to fight. Fortunately, there were a lot of strangers who were supportive and through them I also did a homeopathic course. I am presently given a clean bill of health.
