Taxes Complete

I took the bull by the horns and did my taxes myself, through TurboTax. I really thought I would need to have someone else do them for me, but such was not the case. TurboTax is easy to use and walks you through every step.
With what I received last year, I did end up owing, but not nearly as much as I expected, so that's the good thing. I also paid it right away instead of waiting, so I don't have any worries regarding taxes.
So that's a load off my mind. If you live in the US have you done your taxes yet? Thanks for reading.

Glad to hear you didn't owe much. I don't do taxes anymore. Am on SSI. I always had H&R Block do them. I got my money fast and never had any issues. To me it was well worth it.

@just4him ......I used to do my own every year until my depression made my concentration such that it just because a horrible hassle for me. Sounds like your husband was really paying attention.

When I was first married we went to H&R Block, but when they got expensive, I started doing them myself. It was in looking over those forms from H&R Block those many years ago that I realized my husband had no idea how to spell his daughter's name.

In Canada we have to file our taxes by the end of April also. I did mine today. I owe a very small amount so that is good. At least I don't owe them too much. I use Simple Tax and it is so easy to do.

I have an appointment with my accountant when I get back from Florida. I still use him since we have a little more complicated filing.
