One in every teenage girl in Bayelsa is likely to fall prey to early pregnancy. Superstition has it that the fish eaten here is an aphrodisiac . In other words, the libido levels is always astronomical . With sweet words ,this under aged girls are easily swayed with empty promises. As soon as they take in, the reality stares them in the face. In many cases they end up dropping out of school and the fathers of these children run away from their responsibilities. I have a motherless baby home I visit once in every while. Whenever I go there, I am moved to tears.....
