The song among others which I love the best by Stevie Wonder in “I Called Just to Say I Love You” It was way back in 1961 when Berry Gordy signed up a talented 11 year old with Tamla Records. The boy’s name was Steveland Hardaway Morris which is quite a mouthful. He went on to become popular and multi-talented Stevie Wonder. In the 60s this label became Motown Records and Stevie Wonder was one of the artists which helped to make it very popular. He came out with hits such as “Fingertips (Pt. 2)” in 1963, “Uptight (Everything Alright)” in1965, “I Was Made to Love Her” in 1967, “My Cherie Amour” in 1969 and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” in 1970. As much as Motown gave him a great start he chose to go his own way on his 21st birthday on May 13, 1971. However Motown didn’t want to lose this very talented young man and finally Berry Gordy agreed that Stevie Wonder could retain creative control over his music and have the rights to his own master recordings. Over the next five years under this new contract he came out with five full-lengths albums – Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions, Fulfillingness’ First Finale and Songs in the Key of Life. From these albums can a string of super hits such as “Superstition”, “You Are the Sunshine of My Life”, “Higher Ground”, “Livin’ for the City”, “You Haven’t Done Nothin””, “I Wish” and “Sir Duke”. The song “I Just Called to Say I Love You” was written, produced and performed by Stevie Wonder. It was featured in the 1984 hit comedy “Lady in Red”. This song went on to win a Golden Globe award and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Do you know this song and do you enjoy it? http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/stevie-wonder-comes-of-age

Of course I know the song it is a very popular until today. Even my sister know that song and a few kids in elementary know that song. It is a great one! God bless. It still played in radio up to this day, and I never change the radio channel if this song was being played.
