Donald Trump continues to express his contempt to the American people. His flagrant abuse of power and his massive conflicts of interests continue unabated. His war on immigrants and refugees is cowardly and harmful. His desire to dismantle environmental protections is dangerous. He wants to gut financial reforms which can set us on a course to another future financial collapse. The list goes on. We must not be silent on this matter.

Maybe after 4 years of Trump Americans might like some sort of electoral reform. Like scrapping electoral colleges and just having one person one vote. I'd like some form of PR brought in here as it's possible a government can be formed that the majority didn't vote for. They'd not have a good time in parliament but it is possible even without a coalition government. PR wouldn't be any use in the US but someone shouldn't be president, in my opinion, when the majority didn't vote for him.

We need to get involved in the 2018 midterm elections.

The Republicans will never go for majority vote. They can't win the Presidency that way.

I guess time will tell. I don't see a very good outcome in this but I am hoping that they improve in general. I don't approve of how some things are being done but sometimes things aren't executed in a way you think is good but the outcome is. Here is to hoping.

In the past decade, I have gotten more involved in politics. Lately, I am trying to be more active. We need to let our "representatives" in all levels of government and challenge them on the issues. We need to continually remind people what is going on. We don't have to wait until 2020, we need to get active and involved in the 2018 midterm elections.
