Not Much Snow

United States
February 23, 2017 11:04pm CST
There has been an unusually small amount of snow that has fallen here in west central Indiana this winter. So far, we have had a total of maybe a little over 4 inches....a couple of times about an inch and one time about 2 inches. We've also had some flurries that really didn't amount to anything. One internet friend of mine who lives in Washington state told me that they have had more snow than they normally have. Another internet friend has said that the snow they got where he is in Minnesota is melting off pretty well with the 60 degree weather there this past week. I know that a few states in the New England got buried in the white stuff. How much snow have you all been getting? Less than normal or more than normal?

I know that snow can cause difficulties for driving. I am glad that I do not have to drive on the snow very many times.

Depending on how much snow we get, the school day starts later or is called off for the day.

I live in Oklahoma, and we usually get at least three bouts of snow. This year it's been one. It has been a very mild winter.

We usually get 5 to 10 snows during the winter with a few of them 5 plus inches. With the exception of 3 or 4 really cold days in December before Christmas, I believe this winter has been warmer than last.

I have not experienced snow this year. I am in the tropical country this winter.

Do enjoy the tropical weather while you are there, @thelma55 . Sometimes, I wish there weren't so many extremes in weather. Example:: Today, thunderstorms and 70 degree. Tomorrow 30 degrees. I live in the midwest section of the USA and the weather can be unpredictable.
