Who needs FM radio or TV when all you really need is Windows Media Center?

Windows Media Center was killed by Microsoft and I am certain they wanted to do better by making apps for CBS, NBC, PBS and ABC and FOX and NetFlix. We all enjoy watching and recording Hawaii 5-0 , NCIS Los Angeles , and sports so we all tend to want to watch more than one show that is on at the exact SAME TIME. The networks are still at it. They deliberately broadcast their best PRIME TIME shows to compete for their market share. DVRs are very popular and with Windows 10, you can't use Media Center to record shows but you can instead, get the CBS app and by using this app, you can watch archived television broadcast media at the click of a mouse even if that show aired live a week ago. The options for watching shows you like on ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS and FOX provided as apps are not only good for you at the desktop but they are also good for mobile phone users and tablet people. Windows 10 is ongoing and ever growing. Eventually, Windows 10 will surpass Windows 7 in the mass market. Eventually everyone will own some form of mobile device and this is easy to see by the millions of ads for cell phone services and the latest TABLETS for on the go people like you and me. But for me Windows Media Center is good still as it remains one of the benchmark applications for users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 but I think users of Windows 8.1 did not like that OS version much and would probably either downgrade back to Windows 7 or go forward with Windows 10. This is what I think is the direction of Windows users in the forthcoming years ahead. The main reason I think Windows 10 has such a broad range of appeal, from all age groups and academic circles and businesses is the mobile app compatibility feature that lets you use your desktop PC like a tablet if you have a touch screen and a scanner that can use facial recognition to ID you at your personal computer to log on. I even think that many are using the stylus and pad with their Windows 10 systems to draw, write in business forms and so much more. Yes, Windows 10 is the new frontier for the planet Earth. But at least, for these next 4 years, I will enjoy my Windows 7 Home Premium desktop PC with it's Windows Media Center for watching and recording TV shows live and to listen to FM radio locally. Wow! You saved over a hundred dollars or rather what the Euro would be for that. Great.

Alot of the younger people do not have computers. They watch TV on other devices.

That one main reason the apps are so popular.
