Responding to @IreneVincent (10947) post about reading newspaper comic strips I told them that I skip them but used to read Archie but again I do not feel like doing it any more as the main character Archie is dead and so have lost interest. I have read Archie Comics all through my young days and continued till now. I never liked Archie dying. Are you or were you a Archie fan? Who was your favourite character? Here is a link that talks of Archie's heroic act
“The way in which Archie dies is everything that you would expect of Archie,” said Jon Goldwater, Archie Comics publisher and co-CEO

@allknowing After I read your post I immediately went to the link you provided. I thought it might have been a joke but it was real. I think it seems like the end of the series really. It has had an amazingly long successful run though.

Used to read Archie back when I was younger. Lost interest and then I was surprised that Archie was repackaged as a young adult comic book. Moose was my favorite character.

I like Archie comics but don't like the newer version. It had become too political. The 60's comic versions were cool.
