My feet are swollen and hurt this morning but I have to go to the store and get my high blood pressure meds and what food I can carry. I am drinking my coffee while I am myLotting some, then I will walk to the store and do these errands. I will probably sit down and rest in the cafe there and hope the swelling goes down some Then I will get back here before the thunderstorms hit here hopefully!

Hope you made it back before the storm hit. How are your feet?

Yes, I got back here about an hour and a half before the storm hit. My feet hurt as they usually do, but not any worse.

@dfollin .....I wonder if you have what I had. I used to jog and I started having these horrible cramps in the bottom of my feet. I went to a foot doctor and he said that I had one leg 12 degrees shorter than the other.

@celticeagle That is a thought! Both of my feet had been diagnosed years ago that it had a bone Spurr. Then two years ago I went to the doctor and she said that I had plantar faciatis in both feet and she referred me to a foot doctor. At the time my right foot was the one that was swelling and hurting badly. She xrayed that foot and found that not only to I have plantar faciatis in that foot and a bone Spurr..... but 2 Spurrs! She gave me meds and gave me a black orthopedic boot to wear. My foot did not get better, so she told me to get a simple flat sneaker and wear it with the insterts and my foot still hurt. And the swelling and pain in that foot sometimes goes up into the back of my ankle. So she needed to do an MRI. I made the appointment and was told that the next time available was in 8 days. The evening before the appointment the nurse called and cancelled my appointment. Medicaid would not pay for it, saying that the doctor had to put me in treatment for 6 months before I could have the MRI. My foot doctor called them and told them I cannot treat her for something that I do not know what I am treating her for. Now I am also getting a burning in the top of my left foot that I am told that my uncle had too and was diagnosed as arthristis.

Do you hurt more when it is getting ready to rain? I know I do, and many times are more swollen then.

@dfollin Can relate there. Wish we could exchange it like you do when you change a Flat tire.

One thing I found that helps keep the swelling down is taking sodium out of my diet. You might look into how much sodium you are consuming in a day with the various foods you eat.

I already have because I have HBP and it is hard to cut it all out because some foods even have sodium naturally.

Sorry your feet are playing up. It must be painful to walk when they are like that.
