You get a ton of these building bricks and the kids can make many many different things with them . You get 6 different colors in this set . They are easy to put together and take apart too . Good quality and strong toy bricks . You get a nice manual guide that shows you how to make many different things with them .These are small pieces and would recommend these bricks for a little old child ages 5 and up I would say . I am happy with these bricks and I recommend them .

Yes, when my kids were small, they had the type of toy building bricks you describe. They spent hours building things with them, even I would try and build a few things. They were fun to play with.
