I straight up didn't know any of the people that they were featuring nor had I heard of any of the movies that they were in. This year was the first year that I was totally clueless about the Oscars/movies.
I'm hoping that some of the speeches will zing Trump. I'll see if they did tomorrow morning in the summaries of the show. Otherwise, I don't care about any of it because I haven't seen a single movie this year. I have zero opinion on any of the Oscar races.
For now it is 7:14pm EST (45 minutes before the show starts) and I turned off the TV and went back to music. Nothing about this year's Oscars interests me.

yes. Most of the people are having the same feeling. But, I heard and read some news that an Indian is likely to be recommended for the Oscar...the name is also quite unheard. I really do not understand why the Oscar is losing the grandeur, dignity, and prestige of the viewers.
