I think I made a discussion before that the car at home needed to be fixed. The engine suddenly stopped during the typhoon’s wrath last October, despite me adding engine oil, and brake and clutch fluids. We also bought a new battery but still it did not have the power to start and move. So, before my brother came home, I and my sister planned to bring the car to the shop and have it repaired. When my brother arrived, he was the one who took the car from the shop and from then on, he used it often. The Wednesday before he left, he went to a friend’s house but the car was parked outside the gate. He then texted my sister that I should drive the car in our garage, so I searched for the car keys to no avail. Then my sister found the keys and handed it to me; I however said that was not the car key. (Our car keys were 3, and there was a key chain of London bus). My sister asked me why was it only that time that I said that was not our car key. I reasoned out that it was my brother who always used the car. The next day, my sister called the owner of the repair shop, but Rose said those were our car keys. I was uneasy so I told my siblings that we should go to the shop and tell them about the different car key. Our car is Toyota; the car key was Mitsubishi. This morning, we went back to the shop to ask for the car keys. Apparently, the owner of the Mitsubishi whose car keys are with us is in another town. Rose then called Willard up (Willard is the owner of the Mitsubishi). Tomorrow, hopefully, our car keys will be given to us. I will update you about the car key when it is given back to us. Isn’t it disappointing when a thing you own is not cared for by somebody and then it is not given back to you?

iagree.but we rationalize that the issue was not serious at all because the car can be driven with the wrong keys, but it is still not ours. yesterday, we had our keys back.

Very disappointing. I would complain and maybe get a discount on the repair for the inconvenience? Hope it turns out well.

yes it was disappointing. the owner of the repair shop had many problems too, like a vehicle that was newly repaired was car-napped several hours after it was fixed, then there were robbers too, so they lost some instruments for repair.
