I think there is a lo of politicking going on in the country today. Our economy is getting low. I mean, i hate it that gas is this high already, close to 40/liter.

I would have to agree with you but that's just a small portion of the problem. The economy is always affected not by our country's economic performance alone but but the global economy. If you noticed, it is not only in the phil that tha prices of gas hiked up but all over the world. That is because saudi and other oil producing countries are in turmoil. The sudden decline of the phililpine economy cannot be blamed to the currebt administration. We as a matter of fact, is doing quite well. If people are only basing their judgement on how much the oil is or how much the dollar is then we are not seeing the big picture. I guess, although there's too much politicking going on, a lot of us are still unaware of what's going on. Most stable asian countries experienced quite a downfall in their economy before they rise up, so I wouldn't worry too much about the price hike becuase we are not a stand alone economy, we are affected by the global market. As long as there's war in other countries whi produce oil it will always affect us.

I believe in what the president stands up for. I know he is not perfect but its long been said that the philippine govt lack political will, that the govt only writes law and forgets to implement them. With that being said, I think that the president has strong political will and people may not always like him for what he does but he does them because he believes that our nation is independent, great and has lots of potential. We've been too stubborn to change and whatever ripple we notice these days, we complain, which is not good. I believe that we will be a great country as long as we accept change.

What's bad is that people oppose the decision of the president. I am not saying that it is not okay to oppose or to criticize but it would be better if the people solve the problem or help to provide solution rather than opposing and not giving an alternative solution to the issue. The government is doing there approach to solve the issues in the country whether it is approved by the people or not, they are still the authority and the people should follow it. There is still democracy but many people says the democracy is being stolen but there is nothing like that. People should think rational and must not let their emotions decide and just believe on what they think is right for them. The government has been created to rule and to have laws for its people but the people itself now wants to remove the government by not following it's decisions..
