why parents why??????

i think parents can't be normal. i mean they freak out for everything. ya i do understand that they freak out because they care for us.
for example if we don't get a job immediately after our degree or if marriage does not happen at the right time or even if i drank cold water...
this is too much of a care and it irritates for sure.....i am not trying to say that they don't love us but they irritate us....if you got step mother like me ,then forget it. your life is not yours any more......

As a parent I will agree your points upto certain extent. But when I am repeatedly suggesting something to avoid which may harm health and you do it again then I will definitely freak out. Because a parent is also a human being and have their own limit for patience. I make a point to tell them in a loving way once or twice and you can't respect my care and concern, I am sorry then I will freak out.
However, I don't agree on job, marriage etc, a parent become angry if it delay those. According to my opinion hose are not in our hands so parents and can only pray and support their children here.

Ah yes I understand what you are saying and wonder if the mom is thinking, he has his degree, he should have a job and a place of his own and a girlfriend...Once you leave home you will be free from criticism. And Happy having your own life...

parents can be a handful at times, when you're a kid you will never understand why they bother you so much but once you become an adult let alone a parent yourself, you will understand. There are, however, domineering parents, manipulative ones and that can be damaging. I hope yours isn't. And that they just care for you too much

Yeah, you are really right
My mom always freaking out with just a little decision that I make like I want to have a pet but she not allowed me to take care any pet because she said pet just make you bussy!!
In my head I was thinking "What the stupid reason"

I understand. Sometimes our parents just interfere our lives so much. As they think they are experienced and they have known more than us. So it is better for us to listen to them. Or we will leave a lesson after that. I really don't like this.
