Lion the Movie really delivers

We went to the movies yesterday to see Lion. I knew the basic story but nothing prepared me for the emotional roller coaster that this movie would take me on. As a mother it was heartbreaking but still, it was a story of love, hope and triumph at least for Saroo.
If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it just bring along the tissues. And I have to say, Dev Patel is easy on the eyes!!!

I am sure I will see that movie at some point. Along with La La Land and a few others. I hardly ever go to the movies anymore. I have my Apple TV and my other things like Netflix and HuLu and all the cable channels. So, I find watching a movie in my living room more relaxing and more fulfilling.

A 5-year-old boy gets lost and ends up 1600 kilometers from home. He is eventually adopted to Australia and it is his journey to returning home to India and his biological family. Just amazing.

Dev Patel is a good actor. You saw Slumdog Millionaire and the Best Marigold movies? Nicole Kidman is easy on my eyes!

It is on my To-See list as well. I had seen snippits of it and was kind of disappointed that it didn't do better at The Oscars.
