Would you buy yourself a robot?

Google is working on some very serious artificial intelligence. Their work in the robotic field has taken a great step forward. As a kid I always imagined our future with robots, but as I grew older it seemed like a stretch of imagination. But now this dream is closer than ever. My question is, if the technology developed robots to help humans do their daily tasks, would you get yourself one?

I imagine that the first generation would be expensive, but as their market grows, we will have budget robots for everyone. That's how it has been with phones and computers.

With our hectic lifestyle i do think that having robots would help. If the robots were designed to do our daily tasks then we will have more time to.spend with our children

I'd like one that could clean the house. That would be good.

Yes that would save a lot of time. It would be nicer if robots could do other house tasks as well like painting.

Depending on its function... Why not?!

I would consider it for most of the menial tasks.I would especially consider it if it could let the dog out and bring her back in.... :-)

I watched a movie called Bicentennial Man and I like it a lot. It is a movie about a robot. Be sure I like to have a robot like that. In the past I always dreamed to have one so that I could avoid doing the housework

No! I only wish them for the hazardous things. But for the routine work at home and in the office I still want humans to do it... I don't want to be feel outwitted by some robots... And I don't think I want to see a world run by a robots when it is originally created by God to govern by his trusted humans. God bless.

I only think of robots as toys. Maybe in the future they will be common. They could be expensive I guess
