Does your phone battery drain quickly?

My iPhone 6 battery has been draining very quickly that it couldn't complete half a day with an average use. So I purchased a portable battery charger (if you read my previous post you would know that this wasn't a successful purchase). But then I put my phone to test and used those battery extender apps, then I put a battery saver, uninstalled some apps...etc. Finally, the one solution that worked for me was to reduce the screen brightness. Now my battery can last for the entire day even with heavy use. So simple but effective. Does your phone consume battery quickly?

I use portable power banks and they work well. But don't buy the cheap ones.

The one I purchased was 25€. I'm not sure if that is cheap.

My Samsung S5 can last me as much as 5 days. Sometimes, it even reaches 6 days. I downloaded Batter Doctor app and tap the app every now and then.

So when you tap on it, it extends your battery life?

@Madshadi It kills unused apps which drains the battery so the battery life is extended. The reason I tap the app every now and then is because apps usually go back to life by themselves as I have observed.

Yes, I have a Samsung Grand Prime and it uses it up quickly. Frustrating.

I do believe that a phone with so many features can drain the battery easily. That's the reason why I wanted to avail a power bank soon. Whenever I travel, it always drain so fast.

I stopped all the apps from working in the background. It helped my battery last longer

@Madshadi I also do the same thing if I am in travel. It is nice to remove apps that are not useful.

I've noticed that games played with lower brightness do not consume battery too much

No, in normal use, I can use my phone about 12 hours and that is good enough for me
