Survival of the fittest vs extinct species

I think there are two school of thoughts. One who believes on survival of fittest.And the other who never changes with time and space.I think myself of later kind.For me life is not acceptable to me on every condition.I live with certain values which are mine and without which l can't live -i reject life then will opt extinction either.Which side you think you are?
