Why should you join a boarding school?

March 5, 2017 1:58am CST
Since I've completed 7 years in a boarding school just yesterday, I'd like to tell you why I'd suggest anyone to join a boarding school. 1) You learn to be responsible without people hanging on your back all the time. 2) You learn to adjust and live with all kinds of people. 3) You make bonds with friends which can never be broken by anyone. 4) You learn how to lead. All those who pass out of boarding scholls ooze self-confidence in a positive manner. 5) you get lean and fit. If anyone wants, I can give them a comparison of myself. I have transformed tremendously in my years at the boarding school. And now for the fun parts... 1) You get to stay with your friends 24*7! What more could one ask in life? You learn that there's a life beyond phones, computers and the Internet. Trust me, I've stayed without Internet for 4 months and I think I'm pretty Content. 2)You learn to appreciate the food which you get at home. It may seem impossible but yes, You learn to enjoy eating your greens. By the way, I get non-veg everyday in my school and it's delicious! The myth that hostel food sucks is... Well just a myth. 3) You learn so much about other people's cultures, Traditions and lives that it's amazing! 4) lastly my favourite, You get pampered really well when you get home for vacations! So now if anyone still has doubts about boarding schools, I'd be more than happy to answer. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME!

Well, good topic. I just want to say, hostel live teaches you many things, you get good education, culture, confidence, etc. It makes you closer to your friends but far from your parents!

@barnathegr8... The fact that you stay away from your parents for a long time makes them love you more. Of course home-sickness is one of the flaws but then only without them u learn to be independent right? ??
