Shen Yun labeled itself as Chinese traditional art. I went to see Shen Yun just a few days ago. There was a sense of having been duped by its claims. The show was full of the unsettling religious-political content.And there were so many Falun Gong’s proselytizing snuck between the scenes. It was terribly performed simplistic religious propadanda.Don’t waste your money on Shen Yun. More troubling is that the unsettling religious-political content isn’t advertised on any of its billboards. Many audience members might not have known that when they bought their expensive tickets. Be careful!
