Vacation why not?

Spring is coming in pretty good. Pollen is horrible though. It is everywhere. Thank goodness for meds. So me and my husband decided to take a beach trip. Leaving tomorrow Just to get away for a little while. Considering he has to work all the time. Weather is great, there suppose to be a cold front coming in , hope the temperature doesn't drop too much. How's the weather your way? What about the pollen? Are you planning a trip any time soon?

The pollen here in north Florida is absolutely horrible and miserable. My allergies are in overdrive right now, and it's wiping out my body! The kids and decided to escape the yellow blanket of spores we were buried under and head to the east coast of Florida for some fun in the sun. We enjoyed a great day at St. Augustine beach, followed by some nighttime activities in the ancient town. And the best part? It was a gorgeous day and no pollen in site anywhere at the beach!

@Brittnyrose Trust me, between me and the kids, I always have allergy medicine on hand. My daughter goes through sneezing fits when her allergies flare up.

@moffittjc that's good. I try to always keep something around the house but my allergies have got so bad I have to take a shot every year

Pollen can be a major kick in the back. My entire face swelled when it gets too bed. I try to keep my meds. I'm Glade you had a great time you and your family at the beach. I must say i also love heading to the beach myself the pollen doesn't be as bad there. My nose actually clears up some when I go. Be sure to keep some allergie meds. Jeff.

@ramapo17 , my part of South Africa doesn't get snow in winter usually, just very icy wind. We are having a very hot start to Autumn too. Our winter lasts about 4 months. :)

The pollen here in Melbourne, Florida is so bad I have been suffering for 3 weeks. I have had bad allergies all my life and so do my kids and grandsons. Something we just have to deal with.
