How to renew contact on this site?

I joined 9 years ago, and was back now. Good to see a few familiar names, and would renew contact with my former friends. How? Can you help?

The way to renew contacts is to look out for them on discussions or maybe search them out Many aren't here anymore so I'd say start from scratch and find new friends but re-connect with old ones if/when you come across them.

Welcome back. You should, initially, just participate regardless of who you are interacting with. Gradually you will find your lost contacts and also make new ones

There is no other means to renew your contacts except you yourself identify them on discussions or they do the same.

Well, check the latest discussions posted and see if you find familiar names. I know that several old time users post every day here.
