Why women always spend a lot on make up

Well i dont if i buy makeup it is when i find in on clearance. You can still look good without the expensive make up.

Some people don't spend that much on make up at all. It really depends what kind or type of make up our buying! Women feel the need for make up to make them pretty and hide their spots and they feel payin out as much money as they want, they can do this.

because women love makeup lot. i think its a nature of women makeup makes women extra beautiful .

Good quality make up is pricey. Those who feel they must spend hundreds on make up alone, I believe are somewhat insecure within themselves, they may worry more about what they think others think and probably watch too much T.V. shows regarding celebrities etc. Perhaps their friends are the same. A peer thing. From my own experience, I have known two people in particular who were just general citizens (not in any type of show business) who had loads and loads of it available to themselves. Both had emotional underlying problems to do with self worth. On the otherhand, perhaps they have a problem with binge spending. Shopping addiction. Make up is fun to buy as it is fun to try out. Not to mention, new make up is coming out all the time. Perhaps they want to feel that they are remaining up to date in the make up art fashion industry.

Makeup is a lot more complicated than guys think. You have to find the colors that complement your face, and sometimes the cheaper brands of makeup don't have those colors. Generally, more expensive makeup has more pigment and a wider variety of colors. Since I'm addicted to bright eyeshadow, I have to spend a little bit more...

I don't wear make-up...but maybe it's because they feel they have to wear it and it can get expensive to get the right kind.

Maybe to gain confidence in front of a man or her friends.

Woman would like to present them as beautiful before us.It is not only women that spend money on make up.Few boys are also into it.And also all women doesnt spend so much on make up.

Maybe thats what it takes to help them feel good. Makeup is also very expensive if you're buying the good stuff, so it doesn't take long to put down $100, even $200

I also don't get it! I think makeup makes you look a lot older! It also damages your skin. Me, I don't wear makeup at all! I only wear them for special occasions like when I'm a bridesmaid or when i attend serious functions.

LOL! i guess there are some women who are so used to make up that they simply couldnt go without it. as for me, i learned how to make up about a year ago from a friend...but still i dont really spend a lot on make up, i dont spend hundred of dollars for it, cos i dont really make up much

women always try to attract men. so they use make-up as a weapon... the innocent males are always decieved by the layers and layers of make-up. if they see the origional face under make-up.... i believe they will be mad.

Well, every women have a right to look and feel pretty. Make up cost a lot, it not our fault that we have to spend lot of money. Prices are little expensive these day.

Just to please themselves..

I think make-up makes me feel better about myself. I like knowing I look my best.

Don't generalize. I probably spend less than $75.00 per year on makeup. Not everyone believe you have to buy expensive makeup.
