Cricket Lovers: the most important day for you

If you love cricket then it is probably the most important day in history of Cricket. On today's day (15 March) the first ever official international test cricket was played between Australia and England at MCG in 1877.
In that match Australia beat England by 45 runs.
An interesting thing happened when a test match was organised to celebrate the 100 years of test cricket. In that match Australia won by the same margin.
History repeats! Is not it?

@ichchhe_mrityu I wasn't sure if you'd know it or not. It's not used a lot now and rarely in an unkind way. Most people take it in good part now. We do tend to give nicknames to things, don't we?

@ichchhe_mrityu We call chickens 'chooks' but that's a very old one. We have some for other nationalities but they are derogatory and not used nowadays. And I can't think of any others!!

We have nick names for people of different Indian states but they are mostly used as insult.

IPL will be starting from 5th April. You can watch the matches. There are lot of good Caribbean players play in IPL. Gayle, Polard, Bravo are game changer.
