Anyone here workout too??

I hope that I'm not the only one but just got back to it on Thursday. I was not working out for a whole week last week and the routine I did made my thigh sore. If you do exercise, which ones do you do? If not, why not? I think doing exercise is important especially since being in bad shape doesn't help anyone. It causes physical and mental problems.

Working out for me relief stress and negative vibe. I do cardio and planking and pilates. Its good for the body and soul specially on the skin it makesnit glow and supple. For how long have you been working out?

I was going on without working out for months and especially for long periods of time. It wasn't consistent so that left me feeling crappy. Dealing with stress without doing any exercise makes me go nuts. So for how long? I lost count.

If running is a work out then I do. I haven't done it in awhile because I'm busy but I will get back to it once I'm free. Exercise makes my mood tolerable and helps me with stress.

It definitely does. My workout mostly consist of strength training just as well as walking when outside. It helps me feel better due to the effects of it. We all need that.

@Seattlemom I think if i didn't do running before this I already collapse from not sleeping that much. It helps to have a better stamina.

@diosabella Don't just do running. You have to do strength training to get physically strong.

I am not doing now . I can do but have to adjust my time. Whenever I am in my hometown I go for morning walk or jog with my friend. Why you discontinued?

I guess I got lazy. I got back to it because I realized that I'm not at my best shape and still need to work on it.

When you start after a gap then you must not lift heavy weights, maybe that's why your thighs are sore.

Oh, calisthenics is great.

@Abidas I agree. It takes me back to the basics. Once I get stronger would just up it up by using my elastic bands. Where we're staying at can't have way too many things. We already did that.

I do calisthenics which is using my bodyweight as an exercise equipment. I wasn't consistent with it for a week and this was what happened.

I used to work out 5 days a week for 45 min to an hour each day. I loved it. I actually felt better, had more energy and dealt with my depression much better when I did. I have been sick a lot lately but wanting to get back into it. I mostly do cardio. I start with a mild stretch, do about a mile on the treadmill, stop for a few min, get on the recombent bike for about 2 or 3 miles, then when done with that I do a lot of stretching for a cool down. If I do any lifting I focus on upper body and arms because I am fairly weak there.

You should get back to doing exercise. Like you said. It helped you beat depression and it would make you feel better in the long run. It reminds me of a FB poster about two ladies who were in their 80s. One is a fitness junky and the other walking with a walker with wheels. I am on Facebook and when I saw that, I thought that black lady rocks! I was sore from it last week for 3 days. I'm going to do last week's exercise tomorrow. Should have done it today but got lazy. Did some housework though. Ha ha I think I did more walking when it comes to cardio while less on strength training.

Most we know workout on some level. What fun would life be without that?

When it comes to doing exercise, there should be some fun from it such as listening to music that would motivate you while you're at it or to hear audio from books. There are lots of ways to make it fun.

You are right. I like to do exercise. I usually work out in my spare time. I like running. What about you?
21 Mar 17
That's a good question. I used to have a kettlebell and with it, had fun doing exercise with when it comes to strength training. It challenge your body to get stronger. Running is a good one but hate running out of breath and to sound like I'm so out of shape if it's the case. Ha ha Speed walking is another one I like just as well.
