....the end of winter - thank goodness! It seems like this winter dragged on and on. We had no snow to speak of but we did have some cold weather. The last month of winter I suffered through my cold, which, by the way, is just about over. I do cough a little but otherwise I am back to normal.
Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and our weather will be improving rapidly. While we are anxious to get plants in the ground, the lettuce and such will wait until mid-April. The weatherman this morning even suggested holding off until then, which is the official end of the potential frost date for this area.
So we will goodbye and fare well to Winter 2016-2017 and hello to spring and the allergy season!
Bye-bye winter!

It will be great when the weather gets warm and stays warm again. 
I remember that quite a few years ago it was chilly...no, cold...clear through June. I hope it won't be that way this year!

@AbbyGreenhill No, it is even too warm, about 68 F the last few days. It has been dry for the last two weeks. I am not at all happy to see the rain for a full week.

I am glad you`re felling better.
Its been mild here too but I have to sit out the peat cups I just sowed pepper seeds in, I can always bring them in or cover them if it gets to cold a night or two.

I'm not so sure. Now here the weather is close more to winter than to spring: low temperatures, some snow, strong wind, cold rain.
