Monday Afternoon Pix - Well, I was awakened early this morning, too early for a fact, to the sound of lawn mowers and leaf blowers going back and forth in front of the bedroom windows. Don't those wage slaves ever sleep? I went outside to greet them all. Had a nice talk with one of the men. He told me of his saving a little kid from her burning home this morning. It seems as though something electrical popped and set the place afire. Then he told me about his having to chase a man who was rampaging around, waving a firearm at folks. Why is it that the employed always seem to have all of the fun? So the day wore on and on until it finally became afternoon, Time now to check at the mailbox to see if we had received any more bills to pay. Don't you just love getting bills?" Same thing here. Nothing in the mailbox, so that was a good deal. Along the way on my little mobility scooter I did not see much of anything new and exciting. Met up with my new airplane pilot friend, Richard. He lives close by and uses one of the pathways here to exercise and keep his old bones from sticking together overly much. (I know all about that...) Popped a couple of pix along the way that I thought might appeal to the casual eye... and I assume that everyone here has at least one casual eye. Made a picture of what we see whenever we stand on our little front porch - nice front yard sort of a thing, isn't it? Then, with the sun getting lower behind the trees, I popped the camera shutter to capture a look at part of one of the pathways that the developers made especially for me - and maybe for one or two others as yet unknown to me. That guy rescuing people and chasing away gunmen leads an exciting life @ceerios. I got no bills in the mail today, just junk and that's okay.

@JamesHxstatic - Brother James - I learned the reason for that fire starting to burn the house down. It was from an overheated light bulb "popping" within a containing glass globe. The fellow is an ordinary gardener-workman who does not even live in this development. Young guy, too. (There is yet lots of hope for our world.) -Gus-

That's a nice view from your front door. Not a house in sight! Magic.

@JudyEv - Ms Judy - Our house is right at the cul-d-sac and that field and forest behind it are close to being right in front. That may be why we have the biggest back yard on the street, too. -Gus-
