All over but the shouting!

Actually, the weed whacking guy (waking) is probably shouting, "Thank God I'm done with that job!" He called before 9 am today asking if it was OK to do the job today instead of tomorrow. We certainly weren't gong to say no LOL! He showed up at 9:15 and got right to work. He was using a rather old weed eater that he bought at a yard sale. There was lots of blue smoke coming out of it. But as every minute went by the pond was looking better and better. These weeds are (were) very thick, more like small trees, and he had to use a limb cutter to get some of them down. He worked over 2 1/2 hours and the weed whacker died. He went home to get a push mower to finish along the edge of our property. Then he had another 1/2 hour or so. It was almost 78 and sunny by that time and he was soaked! I bet he went home and took a shower. Did I mention the typo on his card? No, I was in a good mood and decided to let it slide! Photo is mine.

Now, it's done! That's good. But will it grow again? I hope not.

It will but it will take a long time to get as big as it was. We plan to get it taken care of sooner the next time.

Oh you are so lucky to have such beautiful warmth. It is warmer here, but still no where close to your nice weather!

We all love nature, but it can be a lot of work to keep it maintained!

@AbbyGreenhill - Yes, it is stressful to take care of a home and property when we get older, especially if we have health issues.

That's great that it is all done now. Will you need it done periodically?

Yes, we will make sure it is kept up with during the season. Believe me that man worked over three hours and only charged $100, I think he under-charged

@AbbyGreenhill that is better if one is not delaying or procrastinating the activity
