Turn notifications off

You will have lots more time to reply to discussions if you don't have to go through like 100-1000 notifications.You can turn notifications off in settings.It is a pain to have to sort through mylot notifications.Am I the only one that has all notifications turned off.

@workathomefan ~I like to keep my notifications on. The whole point of a discussion is to have an exchange of ideas. I'm not one of those people who thinks that I'm always right about everything. Even in areas or issuings that I feel strongly about, I am open to a relevant opinion about those topics. A couple of times, I have written about current events without backing it up. Now, I decided that I will always provide sources to the statements regarding these events.

Notifications be a headache but you don't have to turn them all off. You are missing out on opportunities to discuss with others by turning them all off. You are also missing out on comments to responses you might have made on other's discussions.
From an earning standpoint, it's easier to have notifications on so that you can be aware of when someone comments to you or responds to you.
I see you always asking about earnings, and hot discussions and top rated. If you want to earn more, it's beneficial to have notifies on.

I'm still learning my way around this system so I'll leave them on for now. Good to get tips like that though, I didn't know they could be turned off.
