My House Looks Like Winter in the Front and Spring in the Back

With the big snowstorm we had last week the snow removal company piles mountains of snow in different areas throughout my block. Since I live at the end I have one of the big piles along with whatever was removed from my sidewalk and driveway. If you go out of my front door the whole yard is covered in snow.
But, with the temperatures rising and sunshine the past few days all the snow in the back yard has melted and the green grass has once again made an appearance.
I feel like I'm caught between two seasons with the front being covered in snow and the back lush and green.
Today has been a productive day so far. I've gotten a lot done this morning and it's nice to have a feeling of accomplishment. I still have to vacuum but I can do that later and sit and relax for a little while now.
Nothing better than visiting with myLot friends and enjoying my second cup of coffee.

You are exactly right Marlina. The green grass makes me happier than the snowy front

We only got about an inch when I heard north of the city they got way more. It took a few days for the snow on my driveway to melt as it's on the north side. I hope we are way done with all that.

I'm also hoping we don't get any more snow. It's windy and cold here today but the sun is shining so I'm happy with that

@fishtiger58 Must be nice, but you're probably at least five hours or more south of us here in Michigan. We've hit sixty once this month and once maybe it was last month and that's it. Stilll the fifty something expected tomorrow will be better than it's been lately.

In the cities I wonder where in the world they pile all that snow. I understand what you mean about part of the yard having a ton of snow and others looking like spring. Along the road here it always takes a very long time to melt and then underneath on the grass is a ton of dirt and things from when they plowed the roads. It makes for a painful experience while pushing the lawn mower in the spring.

I am hoping by the time I get to Pa. all the snow will be gone at least in my neighborhood.

We went shopping last night and I was quite surprised to see small amount of snow left around a few trees on some lawns since we didn't get the snowfall here that you got last time. The snow in our yard melted at least a week ago, but until the leaves show up on the trees most of the yard is in the sun, when it's sunny of course.

That would seem a bit strange. I guess you'd rather live with the spring now?

Depending on your mood you can go in the front or the back yard.

How funny to be betwixt two seasons! I would stay near the back windows rather than the front!
