CAN YOU SAY NO TO YOUR BOSS?

March 22, 2017 10:58am CST
I've been working for many years. As an employee I would commit myself to get the job done. My new boss finds my commitment favorable that's why he's giving me more and more work load everyday. Even the work load of other employees are being assigned to me and he's always asking me to stay late in the office. I don't want to be burnt out. How will I say NO to my boss in a nice way?

Tell him politely that you have other commitments too and you can't stay till late everyday.

I tried that. He just gave me a stern look and sigh

I am sorry that you are in that situation. I guess you have to assert yourself. You annot always say yes. Learn to say no.

Find a nice way to tell him. You shouldn't allow him to take advantage of you.
