I guess I'm a perfectionist

The elementary program is done. Many parents told me that the kids sounded wonderful, and the ones who used to have their kids in other schools were amazed at how good they sounded. However, I was disappointed because of a lot of little ways in which I did not think they sounded good. I've always been a perfectionist when it comes to music, but not so much for other things.
Are you a perfectionist? And what are you perfectionistic about?

I would never eat any of my cooking if I were a perfectionist about it. As it is, I like it but it doesn't look great. It tastes ok, not super.

When I'm creating a spreadsheet, I usually end up twicking it everytime that I'm on line to make it better. Also, I like to keep my DVD's in alpabetical order. I sort my CD's by male and female solo artists and a have a catagory for bands, Seaonal, and soundtracks.

I always have ambitions to organize my music and books like that but so far it hasn't happened! I wish you could come and get my bookshelves organized. However, soon I would disorganize them again!

I think some people are very critical of activities that mean a lot to them or where they have had a big input into some event or other. I hope you'll concentrate more on the good feedback you've had than on the minor shortfalls that you were aware of. It's lovely that so many thought the kids were wonderful.

I'm not a perfectionist but try to be and just fail myself. One thing I learnt from this is, its not necessary to be perfect but to do the things in right way.

Though i am not a perfectionist , I used to do my work in time. Everything should be done in time otherwise I get angry

I am a perfectionist in so many ways. Even the lightest of glitches annoys me and I think it does not do me good sometimes

Why to be a perfectionist, why not to enjoy the things as they are. I am not a perfectionist. I try to give 100%to my work but if something goes not up to the mark then it's ok... It's ok because I don't want to spoil the rest ... Because I don't want to blame myself for not being superb. It's life live it and enjoy it the way it is .

About music? Yes. I'm a perfectionist, so I feel you. Also about writing. It's hard to relinquish control, but I'm much happier when I do. And YAY! I love music teachers! If not for music teachers I wouldn't have found one of my great passions in life.
