Claudia just called me to tell me that they had had a bid scare with Sofía last night. It seems that her throat just closed from one minute to the other and she could hardly breathe.
Fortunatly her father is a doctor and she put something cold I didn´t understand where until he could take her today to a pediatrician where he works.
They gave her all. Antibiotics, corticoids and inhalators. All her respiratory system was a mess including ears.
She must stay in bed until Tuesday and eat blended soups, yogourt and icecream. She´ll be happy. And she won´t want to get out of bed if the tablet is around.
Claudia and Rafael had a big scare though and I imagine Sofia too. I´m glad everything is now under control.

She feels a lot better. And, as it happens with children, it is now hard to keep her in bed.

@marguicha I know it's hard to keep kids in bed. I never wanted to stay in bed as soon as I felt a bit better.

@silvermist I´m resting as much as I can. The wound hurts if I move my arm too much.

Sorry to hear that Sofia was so very ill and that is scary poor girl.
I am happy to hear however that now she will be resting and getting better.
Sounds good to me soup, yogurt, ice cream and tablet.

It is very terrifying for anyone to have trouble breathing, much worse for a 6 year old child.

I guess the cold pack went on her neck, from the sounds of it. Was it tonsilitis?
Hope she's ok now.
